Something Weird Wednesdays

It’s been ten years since the passing of Something Weird Video’s founder, Mike Vraney, who introduced countless vintage exploitation titles to the video age. Since his untimely death, his partner Lisa Petrucci has almost single-handedly kept Something Weird’s legacy alive. Due in part to a newsletter received this year (click here to read all about it), we’ve been inspired to produce a regular column in tribute to Mike, Lisa, and Something Weird Video. Something Weird Wednesdays will sample titles from SMV’s massive catalog. (We were just going to call it Weird Wednesdays, but figured that we’d get in trouble with Alamo Drafthouse.)
